XFX GeForce GTX 280
Released June, 2008
The Pros:Runs all recently released games well at fairly high settings. Capable of being overclocked for even better performance. Installation is relatively easy, no surprises and the driver isn't prone to install errors.
The Cons:Big and bulky construction, takes up a lot of room in the case.
The XFX GeForce GTX 280 series contains 2 cards. Both of the cards contain the stock specification 1GB of DDR3 VRAM connected through a 512bit bus. Both also use the stock NVIDIA cooler, however one is overclocked from the stock timings of 602MHz/2214MHz.

For more information on the GTX 280 refer to the full report. XFX is known for their particularly strong overclocking skills, and their XXX illustraits this quite well. Matching the top offering from EVGA - another brand with particularly good stock overclocks - the VRAM is clocked to an unmatched 2500MHz.
