Sapphire Radeon HD 4850
$199.00
Released June, 2008
The Pros:High framerates (30FPS+) in high resolution, demanding games. Excellent colour reproduction, deep and vibrant game textures. Low price point for the framerate and processing capacities.
The Cons:Noise is louder than comparable cards, especially from fan at heavy loads. Onboard cooling capacity seems somewhat lacking for a dual-slot card, gets hot under heavy load.
The Sapphire Radeon HD 4850 is a single slot mid-range graphics card with 512MB of ram. Using the stock ATI cooler, the card is clocked at the default 625MHz/993MHz (gpu/memory) timings. For more information on the HD 4850 refer to the full report.
