As a DirectX 10 product, wide selections of modern games are compatible. The 9800S also features nVidia’s PureVideo HD technology, meaning Blu-ray Discs and other 1080p video content can be offloaded from the processor for better performance. A total of 64 CUDA cores are available for use with specially written applications that take advantage of graphics cards, like Badaboom and Adobe Photoshop CS4. The graphics clock is rated at 600 MHz, while the memory clock is rated at 800 MHz. The standard memory configuration is set at 1 GB of video RAM.
