While nearly identical to Nvidia’s GeForce 9300 mGPU, the 9400 has marginally more powerful graphics capabilities. Both models support DirectX 10 and Nvidia technologies such as PhysX, CUDA, Hybrid SLI and PureVideo HD. The 9400 mGPU features 16 shader cores, has a core clock speed of 580MHz, a shader speed of 1400MHz and memory clocked at 400MHz. Nvidia’s GeForce 9400 mGPU supports a maximum resolution of 2560 × 1600, and supports RGB, dual-link DVI, HDMI or DP video output. This chipset specification also comes standard with HD 7.1 channel surround sound support.
