KFA2 GeForce 9600 GT
Released February, 2008
The Pros:Can be purchased very cheaply, great value. Very fast graphics processing, runs modern games at high settings with no lockups or crashes. Comes with a great heatsink and fan system, keeps the card cool even under strain.
The Cons:Fan gets really noisy when playing games. Takes up two slots on the motherboard. Need to make sure your power supply has enough spare wattage for it.
Relatively obscure compared to other lineups, The KFA2 GeForce 9600 GT series (rebranded Galaxy cards) contains 3 cards with various amounts of RAM and overclocks. In fact, not a single of them remains at the default 650MHz/1800MHz.
