The Pros:Significantly faster (10%+) than the earlier 4870 for higher resolution gaming (1680 x 1050+). Cheaper than the 4870 was when it launched. First AMD/ATI card offered overclocked directly from the manufacturer.
The Cons:Not much different than the 4870 for lower resolution gaming (1280 x 1024 . 1440 x 900 etc...). Expensive. High power draw and heat output.
