ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5165

Released August, 2009

Product Shot 1The ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5165 is a mid-range, DirectX 10.1, notebook graphics card. The card may be the most advanced 55nm AMD unit, combining 514 million transistors with 320 stream processor units for performance adequate for many mainstream games but easily surpassed by the 40nm HD 5400-series models.

The HD 5165 is a scaled-up version of the HD 5145, to which it adds superior anti-aliasing and support for multi-GPU processing via CrossFireX. Both models include 1080p Blu-ray video and 7.1 surround sound support via HDMI, as well as ATI PowerPlay power-saving technology.
