Asus' Matrix GTX580 Platinum is a high-end video card released parallel to the Mars II and features high-performance components and elaborate cooling parts to regulate temperature. At its core is a GeForce GTX 580 processor with 772MHz graphics clock and 512 CUDA cores, and it is overclocked.

It requires two 8-pin power connectors and has designated voltage control buttons for immediate adjustment. The whole card takes up three PCI slots and has rear-mounted fans as well as a heat plate and cooling tubes. An LED logo adjusts its colour to indicate temperature limits. A "safe mode" button also allows for overclocking without potentially damaging the system. The card also features a real-time user interface that can monitor speed, temperature and voltage for on-the-fly adjustments. On-board graphics memory is that of the GTX580, 1544MHz.
