Asus GeForce GTX 260
$300.00
Released June, 2008
The Pros:Plays modern games at average settings with maximum framerate. When playing games at max settings only a small bit of lag is noticeable in video heavy zones. Will get you up and running on pretty much any game.
The Cons:Really big card, might have a hard time fitting it in the case. A few years old now, has been replaced by faster cards at a lower price. Double-slot configuration covers up a slot for another card - need to make sure you can spare it.
The Asus GeForce GTX 260 is a double slot high end graphics card with 896MB of DDR3 ram. Using the standard NVIDIA cooler, the card is clocked at the default 576MHz/1998MHz (gpu/memory) timings. For more information on the GTX 260 refer to the full report.
